Azerbaijan-Georgia 7 Night Tour

Overview

Embark on a captivating 7-night, 8-day journey that unveils the rich history and stunning landscapes of Azerbaijan and Georgia. This tour offers a profound exploration of two distinct cultures connected by the Caucasus mountains. Your adventure begins in Baku, Azerbaijan’s vibrant capital, where the ancient, UNESCO-listed Old City stands in striking contrast to futuristic marvels like the Flame Towers. Delve into the nation’s unique natural phenomena with a trip to the bubbling mud volcanoes and the Gobustan National Preserve, home to thousands of prehistoric rock petroglyphs that whisper tales of ancient civilizations. You’ll also witness the eternal flames of the Ateshgah Fire Temple, a testament to the region’s Zoroastrian past.

Transitioning from the “Land of Fire,” the journey continues to the ancient city of Sheki, a key stop on the historic Silk Road. Here, you’ll be mesmerized by the intricate beauty of the Sheki Khans’ Palace. Crossing the border into Georgia, you are welcomed by the lush vineyards of the Kakheti region and the romantic hilltop town of Sighnaghi. The tour then immerses you in Georgia’s deep-rooted Christian heritage and dramatic mountain scenery, from the ancient cave city of Uplistsikhe to the iconic Gergeti Trinity Church, set against the majestic backdrop of Mount Kazbek. Concluding in the charming capital of Tbilisi, this itinerary is a perfect blend of ancient history, cultural discovery, and breathtaking natural beauty, offering an unforgettable taste of the South Caucasus.
